Our archives consist of the Digby County censuses from 1838 to 1911, all on microfilm; many historical photos of the area; cemetery records of most cemeteries in the Weymouth area; as well as the genealogy of the Journeay, McDonald, Nesbit and other families. We provide the use of two microfilm readers (one of which also seconds as a microfilm scanner) and three computers, all of which have high speed internet provided by Rush Communications. Sissiboo Landing has also acquired some new microfilm of Weymouth newspapers including: Weymouth Free Press, Weymouth Bridge, Sissiboo Echo, and Evangeline |
